MARAWI CITY, April 16 (PIA ICCC) – The Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM) is eyeing to profile the renters in this City once the Kathanor (organization) profiling for the homeowners and sharers in returned barangays is finished.

TBFM Chairman and Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) Secretary Eduardo del Rosario said during the recently held Bangon Marawi Press Briefing that the renters in Marawi would be profiled.

“After we have completed the profiling for homeowners and sharers, we will now profile the renters so that we can provide possible interventions to them,” del Rosario said.

TFBM Field Office Manager and HUDCC Assistant Secretary Felix Castro Jr., also said in an interview that the process and requirements for the profiling of the renters are still being discussed and reviewed.

“Kailangan magkaroon ng sistema para madetermine kung sino ba talaga ang renters. We will be strict dito to ensure na yung totoong renters lang ang mapoprofile natin,” he said.

[We need to have a system that will determine the legitimate renters. We will be strict in facilitating this to ensure that only legitimate renters will be profiled.]

Castro also shared that there was also a discussion made with the business owners. DTI will then be consulted on how they can support them.

The Kathanor profiling for the homeowners and sharers for the returned barangays will be conducted until April 30, 2019. (PIA-ICCC)
