ILIGAN CITY, Aug. 27 (PIA-ICCC) – More than 300 families who are still at Sarimanok Evacuation Sites 1 and 2 in Marawi City are set to transfer to their own temporary shelter units in September.
National Housing Authority Marawi Project Management Office (NHA-MPMO) Head Director Roderick Ibañez said in yesterday’s, Aug. 27, episode of “Bangon Marawi, Bangon Ranao” Radio Program that they are now finishing up the temporary shelter units both in Boganga and Sagonsongan Transitory Sites.
“One hundred sixty-three temporary shelter units are about to open in Boganga Transitory Site and 300 units will also open in Sagonsongan for our IDPs from the remaining evacuation centers in Marawi City,” Ibañez said.
Aside from Boganga and Sagosnongan Transitory Sites, NHA is also constructing a thousand temporary shelter units in Barangay Rorogagus and another thousand units in Barangay Dulay which are targeted to be finished in the first quarter of the Year 2020.
